The interactive exhibits shown year-round will allow you to discover the many treasures of the region's culture and history.

All the Odyssée des Bâtisseur's activities are bilingual, thus promising an unforgettable experience.

 
 

On our outdoor trail, you will find industrial remains such as an old 80-foot-high water tower which has become a lookout as well as an experiential projection room.

The Lac People (permanent exhibit shown year-round).

 When one says “I'm from the Lac” or “I'm going to the Lac”, there is no need to specify which lake they are talking about.  The folks here love their region passionately. Meet the people who live in the Lac-Saint-Jean region and allow them to tell you all about their culture.

Petite Décharge (outdoor exhibit shown year-round).

Journey of the Founders

Hike our outdoor trail and discover remains left by the region's industries.

Along its 500 metres, you will find many artifacts as well as the ruins of an 80-foot-high water tower. Climb to the top and you will discover a breathtaking view of the region!

The trail is open year-round, weather permitting. In winter, snowshoes are provided for all visitors.

The 360° immersive experience The Sea inside (in high season only).

Shown in an old water tower, The Sea inside will transport you between land and sky, over the waters of the region's many lakes and rivers, all while meeting the people of the region.

An Augmented Reality Journey … L'Odyssée d'Émily

With Emily (virtual character), an electromechanical engineer, discover the origins and operation of certain artifacts, devices and vestiges found on the trail.

Summer 2025

June 13th to September 14th, 2025 : every day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Open all year round except for the following days

Thanksgiving Day / December 21st to January 4th / Easter Holiday / National Patriots’ Day.
